Shelly Perera, B.A., founder of Small World Montessori, Inc. is a trainer and speaker on the topics of Early Childhood, Leadership, and Positive Discipline, and Special Needs. She has owned and operated her Montessori preschool for over 20 years. Teaching positive discipline to the broader community is her passion. She has a wonderful husband of 30 years and two fantastic sons, ages 20 and 12.
We are here to help you learn and teach the life-long skills which carry into adulthood.

Natali is a Snohomish County native. She received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Psychology with an emphasis on infant and childhood development from the University of Washington and continued on to earn a degree, obtain certification, and work as an American Sign Language Interpreter. With the arrival of her vibrant children 12 and 11 years ago, respectively, she began taking Positive Discipline classes, eventually becoming a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. She has been working with parents for the past 6 years.
